Pass Occitanie: finance your website

Focus on one of the most important forms of support available to help you make the digital transition or set up a website at a lower cost: the occitanie pass.

What does it involve? Who is really eligible? How do I qualify?

What is the Occitanie Pass?

The Pass Occitanie is a scheme introduced by the Occitanie region in July 2017 to provide financial support to businesses, mainly SMEs, that need to develop online.

This support applies in particular to all digital transformation projects up to a maximum of €40,000.

Who can benefit?

It's actually very simple: the first rule is territorial: companies must have their head office in the Occitanie region.

The second rule concerns the size of the company: only small and medium-sized companies can benefit from the Pass Occitanie, To be precise, you need to have between one and 49 employees and annual sales of less than €10 million to qualify for the Pass.

It should be noted that certain sectors already covered by digital aid are excluded from this scheme:

  • financial services, the professions, banking and insurance
  • trading companies, with the exception of convenience stores (outside the Toulouse and Montpellier metropolitan areas)
  • farms and businesses in the agri-food sector
  • the tourism sector and the digital industry

What is the amount of aid?

The Occitanie Pass covers 50% of the costs incurred for the company's digital transformation and up to 70% for expenditure linked to an innovation project.

Grants are limited to a maximum of €20,000 for a project of creation of a website or application of 40,000 euros.

What type of projects are involved?

The projects we are talking about today are therefore digital transformation projects. In detail, the following may be eligible:

Support for in-house digital development: for example, a consultancy assignment to set up collaborative tools within your team.

The second type of project is the development of digital market access tools.

In plain English, this means support for e-commerce development: creation of a merchant website, digital communications strategy, content solutions, etc.

Finally, investment in equipment linked to this project is eligible, but please note that this does not include the replacement of equipment.

How can you benefit?

This is a scheme run by the Occitanie region, which has set up a digital portal for submitting projects: you can apply directly online here or contact: https://hubentreprendre.laregion.fr/

The region can help you fill in the application if you need it, so don't hesitate to contact them.
